Flower sword

When I was about to enter college life, I was influenced and inspired by my mother, and I began to focus on the power of women.
When I was in high school, my mother felt that she was too busy with work to ignore me, so she quit her job and wanted to give me more time to accompany her while looking for things she was interested in doing. So she started to learn flower arrangement, and got up early in the morning and took me to the flower market to identify the types of branches and flowers. In later years, I also developed an unconscious fascination with flowers.
She opened a flower shop and took good care of it, but her income was not satisfactory. I still remember that when I was leaving to study abroad, she had a small quarrel with my father and had a cold war for a while. But during that time, I also failed to take care of her emotions, so the uneasiness and sadness of her daughter leaving home, the sorrow of self-employment failure and the disagreement with her lover overwhelmed her at that time. Even so, when I finally caught up with her emotions and chatted with her, she told me that she hoped that I would be an independent person in the future.
She said that after she didn't have a stable income, my father's attitude towards her became more harsh and mean unconsciously, but he didn't realize it. Even when she went to work, she had a higher position than my father. She said that she doesn't care what kind of partner I find in the future or I choose to be alone, she just hopes that I can take care of myself and be able to afford my own life, so that I can live happily without relying on others.
Flowers, seemingly soft, are actually full of vitality. A thin branch props up a huge flower bud to bloom.
But far away in a foreign country, I couldn't afford to shoot my mother, so I turned my attention to the female characters around me. Angel is my roommate, and in this project, I placed the texture of the body in the image along with the flowers. It aims to encourage girls to be more tolerant and cognizant of themselves and their bodies, and to appreciate their own beauty.
When shooting, I also used natural light instead of flash to accentuate the natural beauty of the body lines. The black and white monochrome has a natural elegance, and the flowers and vitality are displayed in a natural way.
